What is Different about the Duraclean cleaning process?
Duraclean’s unique cleaning process holds several United States patents. Our Hot foam extraction method is a water based cleaning system that cleans extremely well without soaking your carpet or furniture. Drying times are often less than two hours! The cleaning system is self contained on our truck for your convenience.

If I get my carpet cleaned, will it get soiled faster from now on?
No. Carpet should be maintained on a regular schedule (every 12 to 18 months). Soil and sand that vacuuming can’t remove will damage your carpet fibers. Carpets that are cleaned properly will not re-soil prematurely.

Do you charge by the room or square foot?
Duraclean charges by the square foot because room pricing can be very misleading. Square foot pricing is best because you only pay for what you are having cleaned. We can give you an idea over the phone by giving us some basic information, or we would be happy to come out and give you an on site estimate so we can discuss with you exactly what you like to have cleaned.

What do I need to do before you arrive to clean?
Items like plants, toys and decorative objects that have contact with the carpet should be removed from the areas that need to be cleaned. Large furniture such as entertainment centers, grandfather clocks, pianos don’t need to be moved. We will move sofas, chairs, coffee and dining room tables. Please leave an area open in the driveway for our cleaning van closest to the entrance of the home. We will vacuum your carpet before cleaning if needed. Pets that may try to get outside during our cleaning visit may need to be secured in a different room or backyard.

When you come to clean, do I need to leave the house?
No, there is no need to leave your home while we clean but a lot of our customers do leave to go shopping, lunch or to run an errand. We will secure you home when we leave.

How long do I have to wait before I can walk on the carpet after cleaning?

  

Because of the foam extraction process that we use, you can walk on the carpet immediately after cleaning if you wish.
